Summer Rain the cut

So today I unmolded the Summer Rain.  I used my tall skinny mold (made by Larry Fields at Woodfields, the best molds on the planet BTW), but I was about 4 oz short on the soap batter, so the bars are more normal size instead of tall, but still pretty nice.

i used brandies blue mica for the bottom with sky blue and lilac micas for the drop swirls.

last weekend I made Confetti Flowers bars – scented with jasmine dreams, lilac, rosehip and gardenia so lovely – in the same mold, they are the more standard for the “tall skinny” bars

Ready to plan for next weekend’s soaping….

Soaping Saturdays

Today’s soap is called Summer Rain.  I’ve been adding to my “summer” soaps each weekend.  Last weekend was Orange Creamsicle

and Patriotic Fruit Salad.

Today’s batch of Summer Rain smells delightful, a mix of Rain, Cucumber Kiwi and Energy fragrance oils – nice and fresh with warm tones.
